Carson's interest in racing came from watching a Bandolero race at Wake County Speedway in 2019. Not long after watching that race, we rented a Bandolero for a test session and Friday night race. It was full speed ahead at that point! After running only three races in 2019, we purchased our own car and got ready for the 2020 season. He won his first two races at Wake County Speedway that year. After that we decided to give the Summer Shootout in Charlotte a shot. In his very first race in the Shootout, Carson brought home the checkers! He would finish the 2020 season winning six races. 2021 brought on a new adventure, Legend Cars! Carson picked up Legend Cars faster than he did the Bandolero, largely due to the coaching and partnership with Dillon Spain and the DSM team. Carson won three Legend Car races that year and it paved the way for the 2022 season! He hit the ground running in 2022. Primary goal: win the Wake County Speedway track championship. He finished the season winning 9 races at Wake County and completed his goal of the track championship! We also ventured back to the Summer Shootout at Charlotte. Our initial goal was to run 3-5 races. Well, race 1, Carson took the win! From there, we were running all 10 races! He finished the shootout winning 3 races with several poles. Carson was crowned the 2022 US Legend Cars Cookout Summer Shootout Champion! We traveled to Southern National Motorsports Park to finish up the season. Added two more poles and became the Thanksgiving Classic Champion! 2023 has started out just right by winning the New Years Bash at Dillon Motor Speedway! Carson and the team were crowned the 2023 US Legend Cars Winter Nationals Champions at Citrus County Speedway in Florida! He made his debut in the Late Model class at New River All American Speedway in April, finishing 7th in both twin races. Carson completed his goals in 2023 winning back-to-back Wake County Speedway track championships, winning the Asphalt Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada, and finally being crowned the North Carolina State Champion and the National Championship.
The 2024 Season was nothing short of amazing. In 21 starts, Carson won 5 races, 6 poles, 14 top 3's, 17 top 5's, and 20 top 10 finishes. In his first Cars Tour start he qualified on the outside pole at Wake County Speedway, finishing the race in a respectful 7th place. The season was capped off with a 5th place finish in the prestigious Thanksgiving Classic at Southern National Motorsports Park!
